4 Weeks of ❤️: Gratitude & Giving Challenge

November is the perfect time to slow down, reflect, and spread kindness. As the days grow shorter and the holidays approach, many of us can feel more stressed or disconnected. That’s why this month, we’re inviting you to join our “4 Weeks of Heart” Gratitude & Giving Challenge, a simple, uplifting way to boost your well-being and strengthen your sense of community.

Each week, you’ll focus on small but meaningful acts of gratitude and giving that support your mental health and the mental health of those around you. These challenges are easy to do, kid- and adult-friendly, and designed to help you connect more deeply with yourself and others.

Why It Matters:

Practicing gratitude isn’t just about saying “thank you”—it’s about intentionally noticing and appreciating the good around us, even during difficult times. Research shows that regularly practicing gratitude can:

  • Reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety
  • Improve sleep and focus
  • Strengthen relationships and social connections
  • Build resilience and a more positive outlook

When we express gratitude and give to others, our brains release dopamine and serotonin—the “feel-good” chemicals that boost mood and reduce stress. These simple acts of kindness and appreciation help create a ripple effect of positivity that can brighten our own lives and our communities.
