Join us for a FREE community event with Russell Lehmann, award-winning and internationally recognized motivational speaker, poet, author, and activist. He is known for his work in raising raw and transparent awareness about autism, mental health, and disabilities.
Join Russell Lehmann for “Fish out of Water,” where he shares his intensely personal journey of being diagnosed with autism at age 12, following a five-week stay in a lockdown psychiatric ward due to severe OCD and phobias. Lacking support and understanding, Russell withdrew from the world for 15 years, battling isolation. Now, Russell transforms his experiences into a powerful narrative that challenges stereotypes, fosters learning, and shifts perspectives. Explore the challenges faced by individuals in the disability and mental health communities as Russell examines societal perceptions and systemic barriers that perpetuate exclusion. Discover inspiring stories and actionable insights that highlight the strengths and potential of marginalized groups, emphasizing how embracing diversity leads to innovation and societal progress. Don’t miss this eye-opening presentation that empowers us all to create a more inclusive world.
