Back to School Educator Wellness Panel

Join the mental health experts at Lakeshore Community Health Care, Ozaukee Community Therapies, Sheboygan County Public Health and Mental Health America Lakeshore for a discussion centering around supporting educators as they return to school during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Topics covered include: self care, resiliency, the latest recommendations, and tools to help us stay flexible and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of education. Although we are entering into the 2021-2022 school year, many of the concepts discussed remain the same.

Social Emotional Learning: Literacy & Mindfulness Picture Book Resource List

As a supplement to our Mindful Classroom Initiative, a MHA Literacy & Mindfulness Picture Book Resource List was researched and compiled by Reading Specialist Anna Grunwald from Cooper Elementary School in Sheboygan, WI for her Masters Program. She then worked with Cooper Principal Kristin Detroye to utilize the list throughout the school with great cooperative success for both teachers and students. Watch the FULL VIDEO to learn more about how they used the list in their school.
